Job Description:
*POSITION OVERVIEW:*We have an exciting full-time opportunity
for a well-qualified Assistant Director/Clinical Supervisor working
with the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) team.
This program will provide a whole-person integrated care model of
behavioral health and social service navigation, with strong
coordination with primary health, in order to improve related
outcomes in Alameda County. This position balances both
administrative duties within the program, plus clinical supervision
of the team. This individual will also assume the responsibilities
of the Director of Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health (DAOBH)
within the agency and with external stakeholders when the DAOBH is
unavailable or on leave. This role will uphold and champion the
agencys mission, vision, and values and contribute to a
collaborative and inclusive work culture.*Essential Job Functions
and Responsibilities: **Program Design and Implementation** Leads
overall program design, strategic planning, implementation, and
program growth for the CCBHC and other assigned programming.*
Create and maintain Program Manual and related documents for
consistent, quality program implementation in alignment with
Federal and local guidelines.* Participates in all parts of
programming as needed.* Establish and track performance and
expectations with staff, including billable services, documentation
standards, and quality clinical interventions.* Actively networks
and collaborates with external stakeholders to enhance program and
department objects.*Staff Supervision** Provide supervision to all
assigned program staff and acts as a liaison to assigned school and
community internal and external stakeholders.* Ensure staff meet
assigned program activities and provide coaching and accountability
around staff performance success and deficits in a timely manner.*
Facilitate and/or coordinate quality training (at on-boarding and
continuously) for all necessary skills and competencies for program
staff to achieve productivity and quality standards.* Lead and
attend regular staff meetings, supervision meetings, and training.*
Uphold and ensure direct reports follow all agency policies and
procedures through providing on-going education and reminders on
agency policies and procedures and providing coaching and
accountability around violations in a timely manner, with an
emphasis on Quality Improvement, Health Information Portability and
Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other compliance policies and
procedures as set by La Familia and the funder.* Coordinate and
maintain adequate team staffing, including collaborating with La
Familia Human Resources for recruitment, retention, performance
appraisals, employee discipline, and termination.* Set employee
schedules and approve employee timesheets, time-off requests, and
expense reimbursements.*Clinical Supervision** Provide clinical
supervision to 4-6 Staff Therapists; may include supervision of
MPTI interns* Facilitate or co-facilitate program group
supervision.* Provide guidance and training to staff members as
indicated and at the direction of the Program Director.* Collect
and review data related to caseload and service hours provided by
supervisees;* Oversee staff clinical assessments, treatment plans,
and progress notes.* Work closely with La Familia Quality Assurance
Department to ensure all supervisees meet clinical
standards.*Contract Management** Serve as a liaison with all
funders on all programmatic and operations issues.* Attend all
funder-required meetings, events, and training.* Ensure delivery of
program elements in compliance with contract language.* Submit all
necessary documents and reports to funders by deadlines.* Work with
the supervisor and La Familia Administration to ensure appropriate
contract expenditures.*Other ** Provides individual and group
supervision to interns, as appropriate.* Act as a primary point of
contact with consultants, including external evaluators.* Provides
input and feedback on potential related projects/programs as
appropriate.* Attend trainings and participate in events relevant
to key responsibilities* Track and regularly report on key metrics
for responsible function areas* Leads and collaborate on special
projects related to agency objectives as appropriate*QUALIFICATIONS
& EXPERIENCE:** Masters or doctoral degree in social work,
psychology or related field, and licensure with the California
Board of Behavioral Sciences (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) or Board of
Psychology (Psychologist) for no less than 2 years plus receipt of
at least 6-15 hours of continuing education units pertaining to
supervision;* Knowledge of schools and experience working with a
variety of systems located in the learning environment preferred;*
Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred, bicultural
preferred;* Must be committed to addressing issues of stigma and
discrimination related to unaccompanied children and their social,
environmental, immigration status, and caregiver issues;* Knowledge
of and experience with working with clients who have experienced
childhood and adolescent trauma, including but not limited to
domestic and environmental trauma, bullying, sexual and emotional
abuse and trauma related to immigration.* Strong consultation,
communication, and organizational skills required;* Excellent
interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, and
computer skills essential;* Experience managing field-based staff
preferred;* Non-Profit and Community Based Organization experience
highly desirable.* Demonstrates and models excellent customer
service orientation, especially in the ability to interact with
people at all levels within and outside the agency.* Thinks
independently and can make informed decisions when needed.*
Exercises extreme discretion with the ability to hold, balance and
transmit public and confidential information needed by various
parties.* Proficient using MS Office products, particularly Word,
Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.* Acquires or maintains proficiency
in using Google Drive products, including Docs, Sheets, and Forms.*
Valid CA Drivers license* *Auto insurance: * Personal vehicle may
be used for business related purposes; it is recommended you inform
