Job Description Job Description We’re looking for a hardworking maintenance technician to join our team! You’ll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has some prior maintenance experience. Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly Responsibilities: Check the building for any damage to doors, windows, walls, and make any repairs as needed Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed Make records of when any equipment was services and repairs were made Qualifications: Should be able to demonstrate understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends 2 years of maintenance experience Must have graduated from high school/received GED or equivalent About Company Our Mission: “To build a company that provides a clean, friendly, and positive environment that energizes our members to reach their goals and open their minds to new possibilities.” At Valley Fitness, we’re not just a gym; we’re a thriving community dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals.
