Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is
available for the 20252026 school year in New Windsor, New York.
This role offers the chance to work with K-12 students in a
supportive educational environment, focusing on addressing speech,
language, and communication needs within a public school setting.
Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized
therapy for students with speech and language disorders. Develop
and implement therapy plans aligned with Individualized Education
Program (IEP) goals and state education standards. Collaborate
closely with teachers, school staff, and families to promote
student progress. Participate in Committee on Special Education
(CSE) meetings and contribute professional recommendations.
Maintain detailed and timely documentation of all services and
student progress. Support students in applying communication skills
across various academic and social environments. Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited
program. Current New York State SLP license or eligibility to
obtain licensure. Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical
Fellows (CFs) considered. Familiarity with CSE processes and
Department of Education requirements is preferred. Prior
school-based or pediatric therapy experience highly valued.
Effective communication and collaboration skills. Location: New
Windsor, NY, serving a full semester in a K-12 school setting.
