Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. A full-time, itinerant school psychologist position is available to support K-12 students within a contracted school year schedule in Elk Grove, CA. This role requires a dedicated professional to deliver comprehensive psychological services primarily through in-person engagement. Key Responsibilities: Conducting psycho-educational assessments to evaluate student needs across the K-12 spectrum Providing direct psychological services, including counseling and intervention strategies Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development and address behavioral or emotional challenges Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with state regulations and school policies Facilitating effective communication and referral processes for additional support services as needed Qualifications and Experience: Current valid California license as a School Psychologist is required Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting, preferably as an itinerant provider Proficiency in conducting various assessments and delivering evidence-based direct services Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly within multiple school environments Commitment to preferably providing in-person services to foster direct interaction and rapport with students and staff Location: Elk Grove, California This contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the social, emotional, and academic development of students throughout their school journeys.
