Job Description for Special Education Teacher No. of positions: 2 SETs needed in Daly City, CA Age Group: All Start: ASAP End date: June 2026 (Possible extension) Total hours: 35 - 40 hours per week (will include 30-minute unpaid lunch) Required License/Certification: Mild/Mod or Mod/Sev Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction to middle school students with mild to moderate disabilities Develop and manage IEPs Collaborate with general education staff and families Monitor progress and maintain required documentation Qualifications: Valid California Mild to Moderate Education Specialist Credential Middle school special education experience preferred Strong classroom management and organization skills Company Description EMIT Learning is an education services provider supporting K to post-secondary special education programs nationwide.
