Position: Industrial Maintenance Electrician / Instrumentation Technician Location: Sacramento, CA Pay Rate: $45–$50 per hour Schedule Options: Sunday – Wednesday (4/10s) Wednesday – Saturday (4/10s) Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician / Instrumentation Technician to support plant operations in a food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for the safe installation, operation, adjustment, and maintenance of industrial production, processing, and facility systems. The ideal candidate will adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and support all Food Safety, Food Security, Food Quality, and Reliability initiatives to help meet plant performance goals. Essential Job Functions Install, program, calibrate, and commission electrical and instrumentation devices, including variable frequency drives (VFDs), level transmitters, flow meters, flow sensors, RTDs, scales, temperature sensors, control valves, motion sensors, power monitoring equipment, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Perform online system monitoring and troubleshooting by reviewing ladder logic and monitoring input/output modules. Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and plant equipment using appropriate hand tools and diagnostic instruments. Diagnose and isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical system components. Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment using hand, gas-powered, and electric tools. Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as required to support maintenance and repair activities. Participate in equipment and machinery troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Assemble, disassemble, inspect, and test equipment and mechanical systems. Inspect, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation and measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Maintain pneumatic and electronic process control systems. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with GMPs, safety regulations, and company standards.
