comprises the activities that support the coordination, management,
and monitoring of the Enterprise's compliance with various federal,
state, and local laws and regulations. The Regulatory Compliance
Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our
operations follow relevant laws, regulations, industry standards,
and internal policies and document processes that prove that the
Enterprise processes meet regulatory expectations. This position is
responsible for developing, maintaining and improving regulatory
compliance programs, with a focus on the Enterprise's supply chain
regulatory compliance (including but not limited to the
manufacturing processes and outputs, movement of goods,
import/exports and manufacture's statements of compliance)WHAT
YOU'LL BE DOING(% of Time)As the Program Manager, Regulatory
Compliance you will drive continuous improvement initiatives to
enhance our compliance posture coordinating internal individuals
responsible for the in-scope business process or product,
establishing a common framework across the enterprise to ensure
regulatory compliance awareness and inform the business' risk
assessment as it pertains to regulatory compliance and
conduct.Program Development and Research (60%)
- Inventory of Applicable Regulations
- Identify the regulations Simpson must follow (Globally).
- Conduct comprehensive research and monitor changes on country,
regional, state, and local regulations.
- Regulatory Compliance Risk Assessment and Gap Analysis
- Assess and review our current approach to regulated processes
to identify any shortcomings and develop strategies to remedy them
[Current State Inquiry & Gap Analysis]
- Establish responsibility for regulatory compliance and help
drive execution of operationalizing compliance throughout the
business [Document Roles & Responsibilities]
- Process & Program DocumentationDocument Processes and policies
regarding compliance responsibilities [Program Scope] and
proactively adjust compliance programs and processes as needed.
- Developing Risk Mitigation StrategiesEstablish training
programs that address regulatory compliance requirements, clearly
outlining the role employees have in regulatory compliance AND
process / regulation specific compliance process compliance (work
instructions/ Operating Procedures / policies)Training &
Communication (30%)
- Inform the business with clear, concise, and up-to-date
information regarding regulatory requirements and changes.
- Collaborate and establish partnerships with other internal
policy stakeholders to address newly introduced and existing
government policies that have an impact on the business.
- Manage and track compliance-related metrics and KPIs, and
prepare regular reports for senior management and
stakeholders.
- Regularly report on:
- Risk Assessment / Gap Analysis
- Current Initiatives
- Program effectivenessProgram Monitoring (10%)
- Assess Compliance and Project Manage Corrective Action
- Oversee compliance efforts to mitigate risks and ensure ethical
and legal business practices.
- Develop and measure metrics proving regulatory compliance and
effectiveness of efforts.DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEIf you can do

the following would be helpful too:
- Bachelor's degree in business, law, finance, or a related
field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance,
preferably in manufacturing.
- a strong understanding of regulatory compliance,
- experience in business process design, analysis and the ability
to evaluate and develop processes to evidence compliance,
- ability to coordinate and advise cross functional teams;
effective communication skills include interacting with a diverse
group of individuals,
- proficiency in regulatory compliance optimization; adept at
discerning similarities across diverse regulatory frameworks and
devising streamlined approaches for compliance that minimize
operational impact,
- experience developing and implementing compliance
programs,
- strong analytical skills and:
- Experience in a manufacturing operation and warehouse
management,
- expertise with Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) product
classification
- Strong commitment to ethical and honest business

position.Pay$80300 - $112800/ year* Posted pay range is based upon
national average and may vary depending on geographical work
