Job Description:
Manager of Data Analysts (Censia, Inc., San Francisco, CA):
Leading and mentoring a team of Data Analysts, and Curators, while
organizing their efforts and prioritizing activities to align with
business objectives(35%); Collaborating with internal stakeholders
to understand their business needs, prioritizing those
requirements, and translating them into technical specifications
for the data and analytics engineering team(25%); Conducting
analysis of business operations using various analytical tools
(such as SQL, Python, Databricks), executing analyses, and
interpreting results to provide actionable recommendations(15%);
Overseeing the continuous improvement of data quality and processes
involved in analyzing the talent data collected by our company to
enhance our service offerings(15%); Analyzing and structuring large
volumes of business data to support the development and
implementation of product analytics(5%); Employing data science
techniques and tools to clean business data sets of noise and human
errors, while also creating supporting scripts to optimize
analytics and ensure compliance with established data quality
standards(5%). Must have experience with the following in order to
complete the above-mentioned tasks: Experience scripting in Python,
R, Spark, and SQL; Experience working with the data ecosystem and
processes; Experience with data in various forms (data
warehouses/SQL, unstructured data); Experience utilizing and
developing within AWS to analyze unstructured, semi-structured and
structured data that is stored in Amazon S3 using Athena queries;
Experience creating dashboards to display product usage metrics;
Experience utilizing mathematical and analytical skills to solve
complex problems in a fast-paced environment; Experience with
querying and analyzing, and working with Python, SQL,
Elasticsearch, Postgres, Databricks, Snowflake, Excel, Jira,
Confluence, BI Toolsets; Experience with Mixpanel and Google
Analytics; Experience using API platforms Postman and Swagger;
Experience with data modeling and advanced MS Excel; Experience
with using JIRA, Zendesk and Salesforce for managing projects.
Requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Analytics,
Business Analytics, Data Science or a closely-related field, and at
least two years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data/Analytics
Intern or related occupation. Option to work from home. Salary:
