Organization: SDMC-Sutter Delta Medical Center Position Overview: The primary role of the Staff II RN is to coordinate the delivery of care for the patient population they serve from admission through discharge. Included in this delivery of care are all aspects of the physical, psychosocial, safety and educational needs of the patient and their family/support system. This function is performed in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team including but not limited to nursing peers, attending physicians and ancillary support services. The staff RN uses the nursing process, medical therapeutics, technology and personal interventions to accomplish this. Job Description : EDUCATION Associate's: Graduate of accredited school of Nursing CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE RN-Registered Nurse of California Upon Hire BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required DEPARTMENT REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Sutter Delta Medical Center, Department: ER , Required:--- 6 months Experience in Emergency Room or Critical Care nursing in the acute care setting or successful completion in the Emergency Department Transitions in Practice Program.--- Experience in overseeing the duties of Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) and Emergency Room Technician--- Critical Care experience preferred Pay Range: $69.75 - $94.40 / hour Job Shift: Schedule: Shift Hours: Days of the Week: Weekend Requirements: Benefits: Unions: Position Status: Non-Exempt Weekly Hours: 24 Employee Status: Regular Number of Openings: 2 Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.
