OverviewMarin Community Clinics, founded in 1972, is today, a
multi-clinic network with a wide array of integrated primary care,
dental, behavioral, specialty and referral services. As a Federally
Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we provide vital health services to
almost 40,000 individuals annually in Marin County. The Clinics

Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is responsible for
providing and managing quality health care services to patients of
Marin Community Clinics. The provider reports directly to the site
Medical Director.
- 3+ Years of hands on primary care clinical experience is
required (experience excludes clinical rotations/clerkships) will
consider candidates who have completed a residency hands-on
training program of 12 or more month's duration.
- $50k Signing bonus available for select applicants (specific
program terms apply)
- $135k-$160k/yr. salary range

- Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical
examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment for
a specified patient population. Consult with staff physicians as
needed.
- Furnishes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment
regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions, within
their scope of practice.
- Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care
components as appropriate.
- Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing
and support staff as required.
- Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and
objectives. Continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety,
environmental, and/or infection control standards.
- As appropriate to the position, participates in specific health
promotion, education and/or prevention programs.
- Assists in the ongoing development and implementation of
performance-improvement activities such as quality assurance, peer
review, and staff development.
- Maintains a professional relationship with staff and
patients.
- Assists in the coordination and integration of all health
clinic outreach programs as directed by the Medical Director.
- Performs other related and/or necessary tasks to achieve clinic
goals and objectives, as directed by the Medical Director.
- In addition to regularly scheduled shifts, is able to work a
minimum of three (3) 4-hour Saturday shifts per calendar year,
providing medical care to patients within the standard scope of
practice. Requirement begins after 90-day training period.

- In addition to regularly schedule shifts, is available to
respond to after-hour calls regarding critical lab results for
adult patients throughout the organization for a minimum of 2 weeks
per year, this includes pager responsibilities. Requirement begins

outlined in offer.
- Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
- Must have a current California Nurse Practitioner or Physician
Assistant medical license to practice.
- Must have a current California license issued by the Board of
Registered Nurses/Medical Board of California.
- Current registration issued by the DEA allowing the
prescription of drugs.
- Current BLS certification and current national
certificate.
- 3+ Years of hands on primary care clinical experience is
required (experience excludes clinical rotations/clerkships) will
consider candidates who have completed a residency hands-on
training program of 12 or more month's duration.
- Experience using electronic health care records Epic highly
desired.Required Skills And Abilities
- Computer skills required.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Sensitive to the needs and situations of a multi-cultural
population from a variety of income levels.Physical Requirements
