Job Description Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Grass Valley, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 08/11/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Responsible for L&D or MB. - Floor specific orientation: 2 - 3 days on the floor with preceptor. - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 45 deliveries/month. Standard L&D, term, preterm, couplets. No high risk. Transfer mothers 34 weeks and below. Newborns on IV antibiotics and/or short term O2. General GYN patients as well. 2 RNs and 1 RT during every delivery. Must be strong in an emergency and able to work independently. Not as many resources available at night.
