ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Antioch, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Must be able to work Christmas holiday • Every other weekend schedule required • On-call as needed based on census • 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends • Will float to Telemetry units depending on need and ICU census • 24 hours of orientation provided • 3 years of ICU experience required • Travel experience required • Required certifications: CA RN License, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (all AHA certified) • Preferred certifications: IABP, Impella, PIRRT • Epic charting system experience preferred • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing • 50 miles travel requirement from facility • Provide critical care to intensive care patients utilizing nursing process • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment • Delegate patient care priorities and supervise assigned personnel • Skills include ventilator management, cardiac drip titration, blood product administration, central line care, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 12-bed intensive care unit with a daily census of 8 patients, providing comprehensive critical care services.
