The Nocturnist role involves working exclusively during overnight
hours. Candidates should be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule
and possess the skills necessary to provide outstanding patient
care during these late-night shifts. Community-Centric Approach in
Antioch, CA Team Collaboration: Become a member of a cohesive and
established team. Collaborate with a tele-ICU Intensivist to care
for ICU patients overnight, with additional support from an on-call
Intensivist. Qualifications Current Physician Assistant
certification. Preferred: Active California license. Experience
managing a high volume of complex cases, including critical
procedures such as intubations, central lines, arterial lines,
thoracentesis, chest tube placements, temporary hemodialysis
catheter placements, mechanical ventilation management, and lumbar
punctures. Prior ICU experience as an acute care trained nurse
practitioner; new graduates are not eligible. Authorization to work
in the United States. Practice in the Heart of the Community
Scheduling: 12-hour onsite day coverage by Intensivists from 7 a.m.
to 7 p.m. 12-hour onsite night coverage by Advanced Practice
Providers from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., in collaboration with tele-ICU and
an on-call Intensivist. Key Responsibilities Deliver care to
patients in a 12-bed medical/surgical ICU. The ideal candidate will
independently assess, examine, and treat critically ill patients,
including performing necessary procedures. They will actively
participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds in the ICU, work
autonomously, and multitask within the critical care team,
demonstrating a commitment to excellence in clinical service and
effective problem-solving skills to prioritize patient needs.

Benefits Compensation: Annual salary with a sign-on bonus; clinical
salary ranges from $187,200 to $224,640 based on 10 to 12, 12-hour
