Organization:SDMC-Sutter Delta Medical CenterPosition Overview: -The Radiologic Technologist coordinates and performs a wide variety of quality diagnostic radiographic examinations and may assist in the performance of procedures. The Technologist must possess and demonstrate knowledge of the following: anatomy/physiology, radiation safety, radiographic equipment operation, safe patient transfers and positioning techniques, and ethical and professional conduct. The Technologist ensures accurate documentation, effective communications and demonstrates knowledge of age-appropriate criteria when working with all patients, which include high risk and critically ill patients. Responsible for accurate charge capture.
