Future Family combines advances in fintech, fertility care, and tele-health to support people throughout their fertility journeys. Role Overview Senior Engineer at Future Family is responsible to design and implement the features for various applications supporting core fintech solutions at Future Family. The thoughtful design and rapid experimentation is core for what's enabled Future Family to scale to where it is today and in future. You'll be responsible for using your customer understanding to work closely with designers, product managers, and others within the company in order to quickly design, deliver, and iterate on features. You care about connecting users and making remote work a great experience within -Future Family. Where you will make an impact:

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to design, implement, and iterate on features and product directions
• Ability to quickly iterate on experiments while preventing technical lock-in
• Enable more powerful tools and remote work features to be used within Future Family.
• Level up our meeting experiences and create opportunities for moments of serendipity for Future Family users
• Write maintainable, clear, well-architected code, tests, and documentation
• Participate in code reviews and design reviews to ensure quality and good architecture Team primarily works with ReactJS, NextJS, Typescript, Python, GraphQL, and Node with GCP as cloud infrastructure. What you bring:
  • Ability to ruthlessly prioritize in a chaotic and ambiguous environment.
  • A healthy tolerance for the balance between Doing Things Right and iterating and shipping quickly.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting backend services in Python, Go, Typescript or another high-level language.
  • A keen intuition for well-designed software and well-written code. You carefully consider API and UI design and consider performance, correctness and the user who will consume the interfaces you deliver.
  • [Required] 6+ years of experience working with Python, Typescript, React, and NextJS
  • [Required] BSc in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with MySQL and/ or Postgres
  • Experience with Kafka or other asynchronous messaging systems
  • Experience with Google Cloud, AWS, or other public cloud platforms
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with ELK stack is a bonus.
  • Startup and Health Care experience will be a huge plus.
