We are currently seeking Technical Professionals who are searching for challenging and rewarding jobs for the following opportunity: CGS is currently accepting resumes for a SDET Automation Engineer focusing on the Web API automation test environment. Responsible for the day-to-day software automation development efforts including requirements analysis, design, development, test planning, and test execution. Must have experience in UI, API Web Services/Micro services automation testing and creating automated test scripts with Selenium. Good aptitude to quickly grasp newer concepts, learn on the fly and apply them in day-to-day work. Analytical skills to derive meaningful inferences from data sets and then apply those inferences to resolve business challenges.

• Excellent knowledge of Web API concepts and testing APIs
• Automation QA with hands-on experience in automation Selenium
• Experience writing automated scripts for UI and API tests
• Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects of varying size.
• Perform testing on various software systems.
• Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
• Review user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable.
• API automation with Rest Assured Framework implementation
• Participate in stakeholder meetings
• Create framework/tools
• Strategize test planning
• Raise/Investigate defects
• 5+ years total experience in software development and automation
• 5+ years using Python and Selenium
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch Competencies to update:
