Job Description:

We are interviewing for a Technical Lead who will work on real-world problems focused on visual odometry and the reconstruction of 3D environmental objects. Your solutions will be deployed to autonomous vehicles driving on local streets and major highways. This position requires both strong software development skills and broad knowledge of computer vision and machine learning. Key responsibilities: - Implement real-time mapping and localization algorithms for outdoor applications - Estimate the 3D location and trajectory of traffic objects - Simulate and test algorithms in a ROS (Robot Operating System) - Deploy computationally-optimized systems and achieve real-time performance on embedded platforms - Explore new approaches to SLAM systems that leverage Deep Learning in real-time Minimum qualifications: - MS or Ph.D. degree in STEM fields - 5+ years of working experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Robotics - Strong programming skills in C++ and Python Preferred qualifications: - End-to-end development experience - Experience with bundle adjustment optimization libraries (e.g. g2o or ceres) - Experience with sensor fusion with multiple sensors such as camera, odometry, IMU, radar, lidar, etc - Experience with ROS - Experience with Deep Learning-based object detection and instance segmentation
