Pharmacy Technician II - Specialty Pharmacy

Location: 445 Castro Street, San Francisco, CA 94114 Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30AM-6PM Rate: 22.45 hour. W2 Type: Long Term Temporary assignment

Position Summary: As a Pharmacy Technician in a growing segment of healthcare, specialty pharmacy, you will work with specialized and complex therapies that are delivered to patients.

Duties: Communication with patients, prescribers, and colleagues. Frequent phone conversations, emails, faxes. Fulfillment of prescriptions, packaging medications for shipment, processing copays, researching financial assistance. Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist. Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports. Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.

Minimum Job Requirements: 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience in a mail order pharmacy, specialty orders or retail pharmacy.

Preferred Requirements: Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization. Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must. Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus.

Education: Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required. CA state pharmacy technician licensure is required.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is 22.45. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
